Dreamy ♥ Dollhouse

Hello cuties! Today I'm going to be reviewing an online storenvy shop called Fanged Deer. The owner of Fanged Deer e-mailed me and asked me if I'd like to write a sponsored review for their shop and I said yes because they have some really cute things! She then ordered one of her products to send  me from her supplier, at random. She sent me her new Mint Mermaid Wig (also known as mint rhapsody). Even though this item was selected completely at random I was really excited because I've wanted this particular wig for a very long time.

I'm not exactly sure when my wig was shipped but, I know she ordered in on September 7th and it arrived on September 16th. So, it arrived in a little over a week which is fantastic considering it was shipped from China! Nothing was harmed or damaged during shipping.

The wig came in a zip-lock bag as pictured above and that's really great because that's what I store all of my wigs in but, when they don't come in zip-lock bags I have to find somewhere to store them. I think storing them in a zip-lock bag is one of the best places to store my wigs because otherwise they'll gain dust over time.

This is what the wig looks like on the shop listing. The wig looks just like the listing except the color is a bit more of a mint green rather than a pastel blue.

Here is a close up of what the color of the wig looks like in person. But, it may vary in photos depending on camera monitor settings. Mint green is my favorite color and I've been in love with this wig for so long. I'm extremely pleased to finally add it to my wig collection.

The wig came with paper on the inside to keep the wig from going flat and losing it's shape. It also came with tags and they are easily removable. I just thought it was nice that the item came with tags because none of my other wigs had tags on them.

The netting on the inside of the wig is really good quality and that's great because if the netting on the inside of the wig is really cheap, it could make your head look weird and the wig won't stay on your head like it should. On the inside of the wig you'll also see two little hooks. You put the hooks in the loops to make the wig loose/tight. I always put mine on the inner loops and leave the middle one free so that my wigs are on tight and they don't fall off or get out of place.

The top of the wig looks very natural. Since the netting isn't black and it is more of a nude, it looks like it's a part of your scalp. Even though this is a bit of an unnatural color you want your wig to look as natural as possible. (or at least I do haha)

My wig also came with a wig cap which I felt was important to mention because there have been a couple times where I bought a wig and it didn't come with a wig cap. The wig cap is just a basic net cap and it works fine for me but, if you have thick/long hair you can buy higher quality wig caps on eBay for really cheap. You can never have too many wig caps, trust me.

I really love this wig so much and I feel like it suits me really well. The color/style is just amazing and I feel like a fairy or a mermaid or something. The wig is so soft and comfortable I honestly didn't want to take it off.
