Hello! It's been a while since I've written anything that I felt was worth writing. Here is a highly requested post about where I buy my wigs. I've been wearing wigs for 4+ years now so, things have changed. I'm actually pretty sure where I buy my wigs changes every year or so! I also wear lacefront wigs now so, I thought it was time for an update~!
First, there's the obvious places. When I say obvious I mean, you probably know of or have heard of them before. The first is Dolluxe. (Also known as Gothic Lolita wigs, Rockstar Wigs etc.) I'm mentioning them because I do still wear their wigs regularly. I don't purchase from them anymore for various reasons. Mostly because I can get good quality elsewhere for cheaper.
The wig pictured above is from Rockstar Wigs. The tip I'm going to give is to do your research. Even if someone who's experienced with wigs like myself gives you a recommendation. When it comes to individual companies, people have different experiences and opinions. The companies values may not reflect your own, as well.
Another place that I feel the need to mention is Lockshop Wigs. I don't buy my wigs from here, anymore. But I wear my Lockshop wigs often. Some of them I've worn so much they're a frizzy mess! Haha You've probably heard of them before. They're known for selling beautiful high quality wigs. I know a little while back they had some security issues but, hopefully that's all sorted now. I've been wanting to purchase more wigs from Lockshop but, I'm used to wearing lace front wigs these days. Oh! They also have a USA website now which I have linked above!
Now, let's talk about why you're really here. You want to know where I buy my lace front wigs. Before I start, let me say that I get my lacefront wigs a lot cheaper than what a lot of retailers are selling them for. A lace front can be up to $150 which is understandable if it's made of real human hair but, the wigs I buy are synthetic. (not real!) So, I really don't feel comfortable paying that much.
The wigs that I buy are from eBay or Amazon. Both are made up of individual sellers. Which means, any and every experience you have is different based on the seller that you are purchasing from. I'm going to share with you every seller that I've purchased a wig from. I know, I know, I'm sharing my secrets.. just kidding! lol I want to help you all get the quality you deserve at a price that works for you!
First, let me give you a little bit of information on lace front wigs. They are a lit different than your standard wig. Basically, there's lace on the front of the wig that you need to cut off. The reason for this is so you can create a more natural looking hairline. The reason you don't have to cut of lace on a standard wig is because there's usually bangs that would cover your hairline, anyway. So, you need to cut it off, then style it in a way that you feel looks the most natural, or the best on you. You don't have to do something complicated to make it look natural but, sometimes I like to braid it in the front yo hide the hairline and make it look more appealing. Just play around with it and try different things to see what you like!
Here's the interesting part that you all have been waiting for! Sellers! I will show you the sellers names and a link to the seller. Most of these sellers carry a lot of the same products so, if you can find a wig with one, check another one!
The first seller is 0hk1826. I've purchased from this seller more than once. Both times I've had really good experiences. This was the first seller I purchased a lace front wig from and is basically what made me fall in love with them!
The second seller I've purchased from is 7692807. I purchased my pink lace front from this seller and it was really cute! Though, since it doesn't have dark roots it's harder to style to look more natural because I have dark hair so, keep that in mind if you have darker hair, too!
The last seller that I've purchased from is called K'ryssma. They have such beautiful wigs!
Those are all of the sellers that I purchase my lace front wigs from. Some wigs are harder to style than others but, I need to remind myself that I am still new to lace front wigs and to now get discouraged. Same goes for you! If you can't get a lace front to look right, it probably just need to be styled in a different way. you can also google something along the lines of "How to Make a Lace Front Wig Look Natural". There's tons and tons of tutorials and youtube videos that help with making your wig look as natural as possible.
Anyway, I hope this helps you all find lovely wigs! Let me know down below in the comments if you have any questions and I will try my best to answer them.
Thank you so much! As always, much love.
p.s. I also get asked a lot if I have an Amazon wishlist, I made a new one which you can find here. Anyway, thank you for reading! Love you! ♥
