Too Faced Bon Bon Palette Review & First Impressions~ ♥

Hello everyone~ I have a very special post for you all today. I'm going to review/give you my first impressions on the Too Faced Bon Bons Eye Shadow Palette! Now, let me start off b saying that I've wanted this palette since before it came out and I actually was lucky enough to purchase one on it's midnight release! This is my first makeup review/impressions post so, I hope you like it!

Can we all please just appreciate how beautiful this packaging is?! Baby pink with hearts is my aesthetic~ As soon as I saw this packaging I KNEW this palette was made for me!! ♥ The shades for this palette are mostly shimmery shades which I absolutely LOVE! But of course, there are a few gorgeous matte shades so, you can create any kind of look you want. This palette is as sister palette to the very well loved original Chocolate Bar. I don't have the original Chocolate Bar Palette so, sadly I cannot compare the two.  I do know that both palettes are made with coca powder so, they're actually scented! I expected the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette so smell more like chocolate but, it still smells heavenly!~

The Bon Bons Eye Shadow Collection features 16 shimmery and matte shades. Each shade has the name written next to it which is super helpful! There is also a marble effect on the pan of the palette which is beautiful. The little details that went into this product are everything! There's also a magnet closure so, you can carry it in your bag without worrying if it's going to open in your bag. This palette is such amazing quality and I'm really impressed!

I did swatch thus palette for you guys but, unfortunately they didn't show up very well. :c But, when I used this palette the other day the shades were SO beautifully pigmented. I think I'm just not very good at swatches since I've never done them before! Practice makes perfect, right? My favorite shades are Satin Sheets, Cotton Candy, Molasses Chip and Malted. I did a look with this palette the other day which you can find on my instagram! It's the most recent photo of me~ I;m still very new to eye shadow but, there were extremely easy to work with and blend! I'm very much obsessed with Too Faced and I would buy it all, if I could! I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who is a beginner like myself. It is a higher end product but, it is very much worth the price!

I hope you all enjoyed this review/first impressions blog post. This is my first post like this so, if you would like to see more posts like this let me know in the comments or you can message me on my tumblr or instagram. As always, thanks for reading. Love you ♥

  3. for swatches, it's better if you just have two or three shades in a picture at a time and really up close :)
